It is with heavy hearts but fond memories that we announce the passing of Glenn Robert VanBuskirk, who departed from this world on April 27, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on January 22, 1963, in Pontiac, Michigan, Glenn brought a unique light into the lives of those who knew him. His journey through life was marked by warmth, laughter, and a genuine love for the simple joys nature provided.

Glenn was a man of many talents and interests, most notably his passion for fishing and his remarkable green thumb. Whether casting a line into the serene waters of Michigan's lakes or tending to his lush garden, Glenn found peace and fulfillment in the natural world. His love for these activities was a testament to his patience and appreciation for life's quieter moments.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Glenn will remember him for his infectious sense of humor. He possessed a rare gift—the ability to make anyone laugh, even on the darkest of days. His laughter was a source of comfort and joy, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who encountered him.

Glenn was a beloved husband, brother, and stepfather. He is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Edwina VanBuskirk, who stood by his side through life's ups and downs with unwavering love and support. He also leaves behind his cherished brothers, Richard Matlock and James Watkins, whose bonds remained strong throughout the years. Additionally, Glenn is survived by his stepdaughter, Sandra Allman, who brought immense pride and happiness into his life.

In his lifetime, Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Matlock. Though their absence was deeply felt, Glenn's memories of them remained a source of strength and guidance.

His legacy of laughter, love, and resilience will continue to inspire us all. While we mourn his passing, we also cherish the moments we shared, knowing that his spirit will forever be with us.

May Glenn rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Everett, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 55. Born in Oaklawn, Illinois, on February 22, 1971, Gary was the cherished son of Dennis and Virginia Everett and is now reunited with them, as well as his beloved brothers, Ronnie and Keith, in eternal rest.

Gary's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of simple pleasures. He was a man whose heart was as welcoming as the aroma of a summer barbecue, a man who made every family gathering a memorable occasion with his love for grilling. He took great pride in tending to the grill, making sure each meal was perfect, much like the way he tended to the needs of those around him.

In June of 2008, Gary married the love of his life, Rejina, and their marriage of 17 years was a journey enriched by love, resilience, and unwavering support. Together, they built a beautiful family, and Gary found immense joy in his role as a father to his six children: Dillon, Evan, Anna, Michael, Matthew, and Andrew. His legacy of love and integrity lives on in them, and they, in turn, have blessed him with two adoring grandchildren who will carry forward the stories of their grandfather's warmth and generosity.

Gary was known far and wide for his willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether it was assisting a neighbor, coaching a youth sports team, or volunteering at community events, Gary's dedication to helping others was a defining characteristic. He was a beacon of reliability, a man who could always be counted on in times of need, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Though his time with us was too short, Gary's impact on the lives he touched will endure. He was a man who understood the value of love and connection, and he lived his life accordingly, always prioritizing the needs and happiness of his family and friends.

In honoring Gary's memory, we remember a man who taught us that the most important things in life are not measured by material wealth, but by the love we give and receive. As we say goodbye, we hold tight to the lessons he taught us and the warmth of his spirit, which will forever be a guiding light in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Gary Wayne Everett. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Jim Lindsay, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on February 7, 1945, in Hamilton, Ohio, Jim was a beacon of warmth and dedication throughout his life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jim was the beloved son of Gilbert and Edna Lindsay, who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and kindness. Though he was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Herbert Lindsay, his sister, Audrey Kilgour, and his cherished wife, Shirley Lindsay, Jim's spirit lived on in the laughter and love of his surviving family members.

He is deeply missed by his son, Greg Riddell, and daughter-in-law, Mari, who shared with him the joys of family and the simple pleasures of life. Jim took immense pride in his six grandchildren—Amber Reedy, Elizabeth Burroughs, Kennedy Riddell, Sara Smith, Jon Robinson, and Cheyanne Robinson—and was further blessed with four great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and reminders of life's continuity.

The love and support of his siblings, Myrl, Patty Ann, Marilyn, and Donna Jean, along with his 18 nieces and nephews, provided Jim with a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering companionship. Each family gathering was a testament to the bonds that Jim nurtured and treasured throughout his life.

A dedicated and diligent worker, Jim spent many years in the lab at a steel plant, where he honed his skills and built lasting friendships. His retirement marked the end of a fulfilling career, but it never diminished the work ethic and camaraderie he carried throughout his life.

Jim was a proud member of the Masonic community, having been a steadfast brother at Washington Lodge No. 17 in Hamilton, Ohio, and later at Kathleen Lodge No. 338 in Kathleen, Florida. His commitment to these lodges was a reflection of his dedication to service, brotherhood, and the betterment of society.

Outside of his professional and fraternal commitments, Jim found joy in the thrill of car racing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He cherished the peacefulness of fishing, often sharing this passion with his son, Greg. Together, they created unforgettable moments on the water, surrounded by nature's tranquility. Jim never missed an episode of "Gunsmoke," finding comfort and nostalgia in the timeless tales of the Old West.

Jim Lindsay's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring bonds of family and friendship. Though he has left this world, his spirit and legacy will continue to light our paths and warm our hearts. We invite all who knew and loved Jim to join us in celebrating his life and legacy at a memorial service, details of which will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's memory to Shriners Children's.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Edward Winborn, a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished member of the community, who left this world on April 24, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 9, 1952, in Muncie, Indiana, Thomas was the treasured son of Wilburn and Betty Winborn, whose loving influence shaped the compassionate and joyful man he became.

Thomas’s life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and dedication. He was preceded in death by his dear parents, his sister Sylvia Jean Newby, and his brother Richard Alvin Winborn Sr., with whom he shared countless fond memories. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his two devoted daughters, Jessica Roberts (Anthony) and Jennifer Winborn, and his five adoring grandchildren, Autumn, Sydney, Adam, Alyissa, and Zayden. His family was the center of his world, and his enduring love for them will forever echo in their hearts. He also leaves his sister, Kathy Hightower and her husband Joe and his brother, Wayne Winborn.

Throughout his career, Thomas found purpose and joy in his work, delivering newspapers for The Winter Haven New Chef and serving countless patrons at Morrison's Cafeteria. His commitment to his community extended beyond his professional life; he was an active and proud member of the deaf community in Polk County, where he fostered connections and friendships that enriched his life and those around him.

Thomas was a man of simple pleasures, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, passions he pursued with unwavering enthusiasm and skill. Those who knew him well also knew of his steadfast love for the Green Bay Packers, a team he supported with the same loyalty and fervor he showed in all aspects of his life.

Perhaps Thomas will be best remembered for his boundless humor and infectious spirit. He had an extraordinary ability to make people laugh, brightening the days of those around him with his playful teasing and gentle ribbing, always delivered with love.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aase Feder, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on April 22, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on December 7, 1938, in the picturesque city of Copenhagen, Denmark, Aase was the beloved daughter of Anna Anderson Clauser. Her early years in Denmark formed her love of the Danish culture, an influence that she carried with her throughout her life.

Aase's journey brought her across the ocean to the United States, where she created a life filled with love and dedication. Together with her late husband, Arthur Feder, she built a thriving business in Lakeland, Florida. Scan Design, their furniture store, was not just a business but a testament to their shared dream and hard work. For 56 years, Aase and Arthur stood side by side, partners in life and love, their bond an inspiring example of commitment and resilience.

A devoted member of Temple Beth Shalom in Winter Haven, Aase's faith was an integral part of her life, providing her with strength and solace. She was a woman of deep kindness and unwavering independence, whose sweet nature and tender heart touched everyone she met. Her compassion was as boundless as her love for her family, whom she cherished above all else.

Aase was the proud and loving mother of Annalisa Palen and her husband Walt, and Erik Feder and his wife Cari. Her legacy of warmth and love extends to her four grandchildren—Savanah, Zachary, Katie, and Jacob—and her great-grandchildren, Harper, Mackenzie, Landon, and Paisley. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Feder and great-grandson, Sawyer Caldwell, and now joins them in eternal peace.

Aase's life was as colorful and varied as her many interests. She was an avid traveler, often returning to her beloved Denmark, a place that always held a special corner of her heart. She especially loved the color red, a detail that seemed to reflect her vibrant spirit. Her sweet tooth was a delightful quirk that family and friends fondly remember, as was her passion for knitting and the camaraderie of playing Mahjong with friends.

As a mother, and as a cherished “mormor” and “farmor”—names her grandchildren spoke with love—Aase embodied unwavering devotion and kindness. She uplifted those around her with her gentle spirit and nurturing heart, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, resilience, and the quiet, enduring impact of a life deeply and beautifully lived.

While the world feels a little dimmer without her radiant presence, Aase Feder’s memory will forever illuminate the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we find comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Parkinson’s Foundation or to Good Shepard Hospice

Brandon Roy Moran, a cherished soul known for his infectious joy and adventurous spirit, left this world on April 23, 2026, just shy of his 40th birthday. Born on April 25, 1986, in Bartow, Florida, Brandon was a good friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was the beloved son of Roy and Joellen Moran, both of whom preceded him in death.

Brandon had a lifelong love for the outdoors. He found solace and joy in the open air, whether riding his motorcycle, casting a line while fishing, or navigating the serene waters on an airboat. Brandon was also an avid hunter and cherished the simple pleasures of life, like a good day at the lake or a lively game of corn hole with friends.

A member of the Moose Lodge in Winter Haven, Brandon was known for his warm-heartedness and his ability to bring people together. He had a gift for making those around him feel special and included, whether at a lodge event or a friendly gathering. His love for a good party was well known, but above all, he loved his son, Kash Moran more than life itself.

Brandon was a devoted family man, deeply connected to his roots and the people who shaped his life. He leaves behind his son, Kash, who was the light of his life; his grandmother, Ellen "Granny" Moran, whom he adored and shared a special bond with; his aunts Annette Weeks (Mark), Brenda Ketelhut (Rick), Joanne St. Vincent, Judy, and Destiny Vasquez (Mark); and his siblings, Jimmy Moran, and Lance and Tyler Orrick. His faithful canine companion, Ellie Mae, will continue to carry a piece of Brandon's spirit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Joellen Moran, as well as his paternal grandfather, Henry Leroy Moran, and maternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Gibbs. Brandon's legacy is carried forward by his surviving family and the countless friends who were touched by his zest for life.

Brandon was a great, fun-loving guy who was always down for a good time. His laughter, warmth, and big heart will be profoundly missed by all who had the fortune to know him. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the stories and smiles of those he left behind.

A celebration of Brandon's life will be held on May 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, FL. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Brandon are invited to gather as we honor his life and the joy he brought into our world.

May we continue to celebrate the adventurous, loving spirit of Brandon Roy Moran in our hearts and actions.

Christopher A. Sanabria, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2026, at the tender age of 26. Born on March 23, 2000, in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, Christopher was a beacon of light and laughter to all who knew him.

Christopher was a man of many talents and passions. He had recently embarked on a promising career path, having just secured an apprenticeship in Apollo Beach as an electrician, a field he was deeply passionate about. His educational journey at Florida Technical College, where he graduated with an electrician certificate, was a testament to his dedication and commitment to building a brighter future for himself and his family.

His love for the outdoors was infectious; he found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was feeling the wind rush through his hair as he skateboarded, rode his motorcycle or his bicycle, or the serenity he found while fishing by the tranquil waters. The beach was his sanctuary, and he cherished every moment he spent there, basking in the warmth of the sun and the embrace of the ocean.

Christopher had a gift for building things with his hands, a skill that went beyond the physical. He built relationships and memories that will stand the test of time. His humor and kindness were the foundation of who he was—a man with a generous heart who always put others before himself. He would often give away what little he had, finding joy in the happiness of those around him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his devoted mother, Grace Carey, and his stepfather, Antoian; his father, Victor Perez; his cherished children, Luka, Leilani, and Melanie, who were the light of his life; his loving sisters, Kimberly and Delilah; his grandmother, Berta, who he adored; his aunt Rose, and cousins Alexander and Anthony, who he shared countless memories with; and his nephew, Weston, who he adored even though he never got a chance to meet him.

Christopher's life, though brief, was full of moments that touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered not just for his infectious smile and boundless energy, but for the kindness and love he bestowed upon the world.

Until we meet again, we hold onto the memories of Christopher with profound gratitude, knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire us to be kind, generous, and to live life with a heart full of adventure.
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Lee McDonald, a beloved partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, on March 30, 2026. Born on August 3, 1966, in Xenia, Ohio, David was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and humor who left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.

David's life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures and the importance of family. He spent his career as an auto mechanic, a profession that reflected his passion for cars and his remarkable skill with all things mechanical. Known as a true motorhead, David's love for cars wasn't just a job; it was a cherished hobby. His hands worked magic on engines, and his heart found joy in the hum of a well-tuned motor.

Beyond the garage, David found solace and excitement in the great outdoors, particularly during his fishing trips. These moments by the water were where he felt most at peace, casting his line into the depths, reflecting on life, and enjoying the company of friends and family. At the poker table, David's sharp mind and laid-back demeanor made him a formidable player, his laughter often the loudest as he reveled in the camaraderie and competition.

David had an incredible sense of humor that could light up the darkest room and a laid-back attitude that endeared him to everyone he met. He approached life with a smile and an open heart, always ready with a joke or a kind word. His ability to find joy in the everyday and share it with others was a gift that will be sorely missed.

David is survived by his loving partner, Melisa Saylor, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He leaves behind a legacy of love with his daughter, Kristina Saylor, and her husband, Adrian, who blessed him with two wonderful grandchildren, DJ and Manuel, whom he adored beyond measure. David is also survived by his son, Joshua Perkins.

He was a cherished brother to Shari Simpson and her husband, Bill, and Daniel McDonald, who shared countless memories and adventures with him. David's extended family, including many nieces, Holly and Katrina and nephew, Jake, will remember him as the fun-loving uncle who always had time for laughter and stories.

David was predeceased by his parents and his dear niece, Gwenna McDonald, who welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace of peace.

As we bid farewell to David, we celebrate a life lived with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures. He taught us that happiness is found in a well-tuned engine, a line cast into the water, and a hand of cards shared with friends. Though he has left this world, his spirit will forever echo in the laughter of his grandchildren, the stories of his family, and the many lives he touched.

Rest in peace, dear David. Your legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in all of us.

Their marriage was a testament to enduring partnership and affection, rooted deeply in their shared hometown of Lakeland. Together, they built a beautiful family, bound by love and mutual respect. Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Kristy, and his children, Zackery Howlett and his wife, Nicole. His legacy continues through his sister, Rhonda Brannon and her husband, Larry; his brothers, Lee Howlett, Gary Howlett and his wife, Ramona, and Ronny Bohinski and his wife, Colleen. Keith also leaves behind his chosen son, Chris Woods, and his wife, Ashley. His presence will be deeply missed by his 11 grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and whom he adored endlessly. Keith's love for his family was only rivaled by his love for nature. Fishing and hunting were not just hobbies for him, but a way of life—a way to connect with nature and those dear to him. Whether casting a line at sunrise or sharing stories by a campfire, Keith found peace and fulfillment in these simple pleasures. In addition to his human family, Keith shared a special bond with his dog, BJ, who was a constant companion on countless outdoor adventures. Their companionship brought Keith great comfort and joy, and BJ's presence was a reminder of the simple, unconditional love that animals offer. Keith's life was a tapestry woven with kindness, generosity, and a profound love for those around him. His legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the stories shared by loved ones, and the serene beauty of the natural world he cherished so deeply. As we mourn Keith's passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life he led. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a reminder to cherish every moment with those we hold dear. While our hearts ache in his absence, we find solace in the memories he created and the love he left behind.

Remedios (Remy) Rivera Renfroe, born July 27, 1969, passed away March 5, 2026. In her time with us, Remy left an indelible mark through her unwavering dedication to her family, community, and faith. A cherished member of Resurrection Catholic Church, she was deeply involved in various church activities, notably as part of the Emmaus group, the Bereavement Team, and the Resurrection Council of Catholic Women. Her commitment to these groups reflected her compassionate spirit and her desire to uplift and support others in times of need.

Remy had many passions. She loved capturing the beauty of nature and preserving memories with family and friends through photography. She enjoyed cooking, and, even more, sharing meals with loved ones. Her vibrant garden was not only beautiful, but also plentiful with ube, pineapple, and more.

Remy was preceded in death by her father Alfon Rivera.
It is with deep sadness and yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ruth I. Stacy, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend. Ruth peacefully departed this world on March 6, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. Ruth was born on July 9, 1941, in the close-knit community of Hurley, Virginia, to her beloved parents, Robert and Ollie Stacy. As one of several siblings, Ruth grew up surrounded by the warmth and camaraderie that only a large family can provide. Predeceased by her parents and siblings Bill, John, Ronny, Frank, Fay Scalen, Lula Baker, and Laura May, Ruth's passing marks the end of an era for the Stacy family, yet her spirit lives on in the cherished memories she created with them. Ruth's journey led her to Lakeland, Florida, where she found not only employment but a second family at Florida Southern College. For many years, she worked as a cashier in the college's dining room, a role that allowed her to share her warmth and kindness with countless students and staff. Ruth's gentle smile and caring nature turned everyday interactions into moments of genuine connection, earning her a special place in the hearts of all who crossed her path. A devoted member of Northside Baptist Church in Lakeland, Ruth's faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing her with strength and solace. Her church community was an extension of her family, where she found spiritual nourishment and shared her compassion and generosity with fellow congregants. Ruth had a passion for cooking, a talent she lovingly shared with friends and family. Her kitchen was a haven of delicious aromas, hearty meals, and laughter, where she delighted in bringing people together through her culinary creations. Her dishes were not just food but expressions of her love and care, a testament to her nurturing spirit. Known for her selflessness, Ruth consistently put others before herself. Her love for her family and friends was boundless, and her caring disposition extended to all living creatures. An animal lover at heart, Ruth's gentle way with animals was yet another reflection of her kind and compassionate soul. Ruth is survived by her sister, Betty Stacy, and a host of nieces and nephews who carry forward her legacy of love and warmth. And her loving companion Bambi. Her family, both near and far, will miss her dearly, but they are comforted by the memories of her unwavering kindness and the joy she brought into their lives.

Terry Beal finished her earthly course on February 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Martha and Walter Timmins of Manchester, CT. She had two brothers and two sisters, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, John “Jack” J. Beal II; two sons, John and wife Angela Beal of East Hartford, CT, and David and wife Michelle Beal of Machester, CT; and one grandson, Joshua Beal of Manchester, CT.

Terry and Jack moved to Lakeland, FL in 2004, residing in Citrus Woods for 22 years.

Terry graduated from Manchester High School in 1965. Her greatest dream in life was to become a mother and a housewife, which she accomplished. But she was much more than that. She was able to manage two jobs at any given point in time: all this while building a direct sales business, rising to the rank of senior supervisor. During this time, Terry built one of the highest grossing Shaklee businesses in New England, a distinction which she held for over 10 years.

She is best remembered for her propensity to share with others in one way or another. Terry’s generosity and her drive to give is her most wonderful legacy she will leave behind. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
