Charles Galloway Vaughan born January 2, 1957 and passed away June 13, 2026, at the age of 69. Charles leaves behind his 5 children, Charlie (Alicia) Vaughan, Joyce (Robert) Delaney, Amanda (Jason) McCollough, Alicia (Roy) Fowler, and Betty (Chris) Rasner; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many loving family members and lifelong friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Charles was a true prankster at heart, he found great joy in pushing everyone’s buttons, teasing those he loved, and making people laugh. He loved sharing stories that often grew a little taller with each telling. Whether he was launching bottle rockets, swapping stories on the porch, or sitting back with a cup of coffee watching the birds he had a way of turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Donna, who was one of the few people who could keep him in check and always knew exactly how to handle his mischievous ways (by tossing a frying pan or coffee mug at him lol). If Charles could leave us with one final request, it would be simple: keep laughing, keep playing harmless pranks, keep sharing exaggerated stories, and keep testing each other’s patience just enough to remind one another how much you’re loved. In his honor may we continue to find joy in the little things and never miss an opportunity to smile. He will be forever celebrated and deeply missed by all who he playfully tormented.
