Viewing for Sandy will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 10-11am with a funeral service following at 11 am at Family Worship Center at 1330 E Rose St, Lakeland, FL 33801.
She will laid to rest at Oak Hill Burial Park following the service.
Sandra Kay Stone, 70, of Lakeland, Fl passed away on July 1, 2026. There will never be enough words to describe how wonderful, kind and beautiful and beyond measure Sandy was. She was truly a once in a lifetime type of woman, wife, mother and Mimi. Sandy treated everyone she met with kindness and warmth and never knew a stranger. Her most prized possessions in this life were not material items but her family whom she spent most of her time with. She loved going to the beach and watching the waves and sunset. When times were hard, she used to say, “someone take me to the beach so it can wash away my problems”. Sandy was everyone’s solid ground and confidant. There was never a problem that she would not try to find a solution for when it came to her friends and family. There will truly never come a day when her memory will not bring comfort to all whom loved and cared for her. Sandy is preceded in death by grandparents, Elsie and Jack Adams; parents, Jan Starling and Dave Neal; sister, Debbie Neal and Debbie’s life partner, Tony Watson; Aunt Kay Hughes; sons, Jason Neal-Turner and Joseph Stone. Sandy is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Stone; children, Richard Edward Murray and wife Dawnivee, Whitney Stone, Hayley Lester and husband Casey; grandchildren Richard Edward Murray Jr, Reese Ethan Murray, Brooklyn Lovell, Joseph Lester, Aubrey Stone, Riley Lovell, Liam Lovell, William Lester, Isabella Lester, great grandchild Malicia Lovell; sister, Vickie Mandish and her children, Lauren Grayand Jana Mandish, and brother, Joseph Starling and his son Brandon Boswell.
