Virginia Hiber, Age 75, passed away on January 8, 2023, in Lakeland, FL. She was born to Leonard and Jeanne Manning on November 22, 1947 in Sewickley, PA. She was a teacher for the Polk County School Board for 36 years having taught 25 of them at Cleveland Court Elementary. She won teacher of the year for Polk County in 1994. Virginia was very active in Cursillo Movement in the Episcopal Diocese in Central Florida and was a member of St Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Lakeland, Florida.
Virginia is survived by husband of 54 years, Thomas Hiber; Sons, Timothy C. and James L both of Nashville TN; Sister, Susan K. Manning Stewart of Lakeland Fl; Brother, Dr Bruce L. Manning of Wadsworth, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joanne Manning of Wadsworth, Ohio; Grandchildren, Kaelynn Sarah Hiber of Lakeland Fl and Sadie Jade Hiber and Bodie James Hiber all of Nashville TN
