A memorial service honoring Matthew’s life will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, located at 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33801.
A celebration of life and small reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life and legacy of Matt.

You were an amazing friend. Unfortunately I did not visit as often as I should have. For that I will forever regret, but I will always hold dear the memories I have with you. R.I.P. my friend. Until we meet again. May or Steelers always shine!

I worked for 4 years with Matt and loved every minute working with him. An absolute stand up guy who was beyond reproach. He will be missed so many people.
