Daddy, Christmas was hard this year. My first one without you and my first one without you and mom. I am trying so hard to be strong but some days it is really hard. I love you and miss you so much. Fly High Daddy

To the Family of John Wayne: He was always smiling and full of joy each time I saw him. I know without a doubt that he truly loved his family with all his heart. He is now an Angel in Heaven who will be watching over his children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren for eternity. Rest in Peace John Wayne. You were surely taken too soon. Spread your Wings and Fly High with the Angels.

I always loved John Wayne when I was a kid him and my father had so many memories together my dad missed him when we left and he will be missed. I remember him as a child coming over or my dad going over to his house and then just sitting around drinking cold beer and talking and shooting the breeze I know right now that they both are probably up there reuniting and seeing each other and having a cold beer

John Wayne was a good man and friend! Seen him a couple weeks ago when he was still home! That is the way I want to remember him! He told me he could tell that I had change my life and he was glad. Made me feel good he had noticed. I’m praying for all his kids. Love you guys! I know one day we will see him again in heaven
