Johnny was the cherished son of Johnny and Viola Stilwell and grew up surrounded by a large family. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings: Janette, Janice, Jethro, Gerald, Cathy, and TrishAnn. He also mourned the loss of his granddaughter, Ariel, daughter Latricia, son Stephen, and wife Crystal, who all left a profound impact on his life.

Johnny is survived by four devoted children: John Jr. (Dana), Nathan (Misty), Heidi (Brian), and James (Meikala), who carry on his legacy of love and resilience. He was a proud grandfather to 17 great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Johnny also leaves behind his niece, Jessica and her four children, and Alicia.

A man of simple pleasures, Johnny had a profound love for the great outdoors. He delighted in fishing and hunting, activities that not only allowed him to embrace nature but also provided cherished moments with family and friends.
