Arlis Ray Roberts III, age 54, of Haines City, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 12, 2021 while under the care of family and Good Shepherd Hospice. He was born on December 12, 1966 in Plant City, FL to Arlis Ray Roberts Jr. and Janice Rosemary Roberts. Upon graduation from Lake Gibson High School, he attended the police academy and gained employment with the Haines City Police Department for 15 years. He then pursued a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu and upon graduating became a culinary instructor. He then took the role of head chef at a local restaurant in Haines City. He later entered the field of youth counseling for troubled teens. Ultimately his compassion transitioned him to become a mentor for mentally disabled adults. Arlis lived his life serving his Lord, family and community out of a kind and compassionate heart.
He is survived by his parents, Arlis Ray Roberts Jr. and Janice Rosemary Roberts, two sisters, Amber Meints and Angela Barrand, and his four daughters, Briana Roberts, Loren Roberts, Sommer Roberts, and Autumn Roberts.
