A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 10-11am with a funeral service following at 11 at Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel, 2090 East Edgewood Drive, Lakeland. Bill will be laid to rest with his wife, Betty, at Oak Hill Burial Park later that day.
William “Bill” Edward Sullivan, Jr, Age 96, passed away on July 23, 2024, in Lakeland, FL. William was born on July 29,1927 in Madison, GA to William and Lucille Sullivan. Bill served in the US Marine Corp during World War II. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church with his wife, Betty. He was a superintendent with Ashland Oil Company for many years before retiring. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Betty and grandson, Andy.
Bill is survived by three children, William Sullivan III (Nina); James Sullivan (Ann); and Patricia Wren (Drystal); five grandchildren, Kristin, Jonathan (Patera), David, Jacob (Emily) and Brian (Michaela); six great grandchildren.
