Thomas Burbick

June 25, 1935 - June 12, 2023

Thomas L. Burbick “Tom”, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Tom was born in Alliance, Ohio on June 25, 1935 and was a proud graduate from Middletown High School. After graduation, Tom honorably served his nation in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Lee Burbick, and sister JoAnn Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann (Hosack) Burbick and 6 children Jessie Gainey (LaDon), Thomas Burbick (Annette), Suzanne Weil (Scott), Julie Parker (Rommy), F. Dale Sprague (Wai Yee), and Tina Ferrucci (Lou). Tom is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Consistent with Tom’s wishes, his family will privately celebrate his life without a formal memorial service.
