Sylbert E Thomas

Sylbert E. Thomas, 81, of Lakeland, FL was born to Cecil Thomas and Learnis Watson on January 9th, 1943, in St. Andrews, Jamaica as the baby of 7 children. He retired in 2001 from Leisure Bay as an Inspector.  Sylbert took his final breath on April 27th, 2024. He lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. He will be fondly remembered and surely missed. He is preceded in death by his parents and all 6 siblings. He is survived by his Wife, Cynthia Canty-Thomas; Son, Ferron Thomas; Daughters, Yvonne Thomas, Sophia (Thomas) Brown, Cynthia Thomas, Shereen Thomas, Learnis Thomas; 11 Grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and an abundance of mourning relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, May 10th at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL.
