Sharon Ann Lind

June 30, 1943 - April 22, 2026

Sharon Ann Lind (née Reed) was born June 30, 1943, and passed away on April 22, 2026. Sharon grew up in Moline, Illinois, and later made her home in Lakeland, Florida.

She was the daughter of Clark Reed and Judith Strang (Johnson). Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings Harry James (“Jim”) Reed and Daryl Vernon Reed, and she is survived by her brother, William (“Cotton”) Reed.

Sharon was a devoted mother to Joe Lind and Jodie Lind. She cherished her family deeply, including her grandchildren: Victoria Lind, Dylan Lind, and Kimberly Hay. Sharon was also blessed to know her great-grandchildren, Kambrie Parker and Grayson Parker.

Sharon worked throughout her life in hospital care and home health care, taking pride in helping others. She worked hard, and in every season of life, she made time for the people she loved most.

Sharon leaves behind more than memories—she leaves a tradition. Her family will remember her long-running legacy of movie marathons, snacks shared with laughter, and time spent together, the kind of togetherness that made ordinary days feel special.

Sharon will be laid to rest at Greenview Cemetery, East Moline, Illinois, in a private service with family.

She will be missed deeply and remembered always.
