Sandra Faye (Kirkland) Sutton, 64

MEDULLA – Sandra Faye (Kirkland) Sutton, 64, passed away at sunrise in her home surrounded by family on December 24, 2025.  Born in Lakeland, FL on September 6, 1961, Sandra was a lifelong resident of Medulla, FL.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She trusted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the Florida Baptist Encampment in Groveland, FL as a young teenager.  She loved vacationing with her family in Saint Augustine, Savannah, and the Smoky Mountains.  Over the years, she was employed by White Swan, Atlanta Testing & Engineering, Sutton’s Mobile Transit, and later in life, Walmart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles “Everette” and Vivian Kirkland.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Marcus Sutton (Medulla, FL); her three sons, Chris Lanier (Carol Stream, IL), Eric Lanier and wife Sara (Winter Haven, FL),  Philip Sutton and wife Kirsten (Medulla, FL); her five grandchildren, Bella Lanier, Jayden Lanier, Aaliyah Lanier, Jackson Lanier, and Juliet Sutton; her sister, Carol Glave (Medulla, FL); her cousins and caretakers, Vera Tungate (Medulla, FL) and Beth Kirkland (Blairsville, GA); her beloved dog, Daisy; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
