Rosemary Smith

November 11, 1931 - July 4, 2024

Rosemary Smith, Age 92, passed away on 7/4/2024 in Lakeland, FL.  She was born on 11/11/1931 in Charleston, WV.  Rosemary met her husband, Leroy Smith in Chicago and they were married on June 19, 1951, and the family moved to Lakeland around 1968.  She worked for Cutler Federal Manufacturing for 30 years, she started as a floor employee and worked her way to Plant Manager before retiring.  Rosemary enjoyed bowling and was in a league for 18 years. Rosemary and Deborah would chat on the phone while watching Big Brother and it could be said that Rosemary was addicted to Bingo and playing games on her iPad. She also loved the beach and her dogs, Misty, Sophie, Lucy, Bella, Maggie, Mia, and Scarlet but her grandchildren were her PRIDE AND JOY! She preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; daughters, Susie Alcox and Deborah Andrew; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Kapp (Ann) and Dave Kapp (Pat).

Rosemary is survived by two children, David Smith, and Katie Brooks; 10 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and many other loving family members.
