Robert Eugene Rogers Jr

Robert Eugene Rogers Jr., age 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Lakeland, FL.  Bob was born March 19, 1954, in Miami, FL. He is the son of the late Robert Eugene and the late Audrey Smith. In his early year, Bob worked in the oil fields spending many years on oil rigs in Montana and the Gulf of Mexico. He was a Florida State Certified Mechanical Contractor. Bob and Lori recently retired after owning Rogers A/C and Refrigeration after 25 years in Lakeland.  He was a crossword fanatic and composed his own crossword dictionary and enjoyed playing his guitar “Jamie” and loved to rock and roll. Bob appreciated the outdoors and was an avid swimmer. At home, he was a busy body who loved spending time in his yard and looking forward to seeing his cat, Rhea, over the rainbow bridge.

Bob is survived by his loving wife; Lori Rogers; daughter, Jennifer; sister, Marilyn Campbell (Larry); twin aunts, Arline and Darlene and many nieces and nephews.
