A visitation is planned for Thursday Jan 13th at the Casket Store & Funeral Chapel 2090 E. Edgewood Dr. Lakeland, FL from 3-4 p.m. Burial will be on January 14, 2022 at 10:30 Bushnell National Cemetery with full military honors. He will be laid to rest with his first wife Dolores Davis.
Family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St .Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital .www.stjude.org/donate.

Chet was a close friend to both sides of my family. He also was our neighbor across the alley in the old neighborhood on Wilson St. in Greenfield. He helped so many people over years with a multitude of things from car repairs to tutoring. He was just an all around great person to call their friend. I am glad to share in the memories of the friendship he had with my Dad and family. God bless him and his family.
