Since meeting Bob Henry in 1995 at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, my life has been the better for it! I was on staff at HPN for a little over 4 years, and Bob became my "right hand man" in the family ministry there! He was more than just a "helper" at church, he became a friend of mine! We talked several times a week for friendship, accountability and much, much prayer! Bob's wife and kids were always precious to me and my family (birthdays, outings, dinner, etc.) Bob was a true friend. Anyone who makes you to be a little bit more like Jesus... is an authentic friend! Prayers for the family!!! You are loved.

Dad I say my last goodbye. Goodbye to the all the things I thought I still had time to do with you . Thank you for giving me the memories I will carry on with the rest of my life. From the bottom of my heart thank you for giving the childhood everyone should have and experience. I hope someday we meet again but until then like you always said in life, “Stephen it will all work out”. Please tell everyone hi and give great grandma a hug for me. Caitlin and I got each other and we’ll be ok.

I am Bob's second cousin. Bob was always such a joy to be around, he always had either great insight or a funny quip, or usually both, to add to the conversation. He would have everyone laughing and carrying on, filling a room with laughter and sheer joy! Bob was a wonderful presence, wherever he was 💟. Bob was the kind of person that everyone would turn to for advice, he was always lifting people up and encouraging them in all of their endeavors. Bob had contacted me in recent months and we had no shortage of things to talk about, it was so very enjoyable. I had no idea that that would be the last time I would hear his voice. I feel very fortunate to have known him and be a family member of his. I wish could attend the service, but time and distance prevent that. I want to say; I love you Bob Henry, and rest easy my dear brother, it's been truly an honor to have known you my entire life, you will truly be missed, and I will think of you often ❣️
