Rebecca Beesley

June 30, 1941 - March 23, 2025

Rebecca “Becky” Rounsaville Beesley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 83.  Born June 30, 1941, in Hattiesburg, MS to Paul and Joyce Rounsaville, Becky lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys.

For many years, Becky delighted clients with her talent and warm personality as a skilled hairdresser.  Beyond her professional life, she found immense fulfillment in her role as a wife and mother, nurturing her family with unwavering love and support.  She was a devoted “Mawmaw” to her grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Becky’s passions extended beyond her family.  She found solace and joy in tending her garden, where vibrant blooms reflected her nurturing spirit.  The ocean’s serenity and the majesty of the mountains held a special place in her heart, providing endless inspiration and countless cherished memories.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sonny Beesley; her parents, Paul and Joyce Rounsaville; a sister; a brother; and a son, Becky leaves behind a legacy of love and strength.  She is survived by her two children, Brooke Callahan and Timothy Lucas; and her five cherished grandchildren, Megan, Brandon, Raven, Wren, and Grey; sister, Jan Rounsaville.

Becky’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
