In loving memory, we honor and celebrate the life of Paul Patrick Sacco Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 73. Paul was born on May 26, 1952, in Syracuse, NY, to Louis and Mary Sacco, who preceded him in death, along with his cherished brothers, Edward and Robert.

Paul was a beacon of love and selflessness, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Raised in Syracuse, he dedicated his career to the city he loved, working tirelessly for 40 years to fix leaks and improve the infrastructure of Syracuse, NY. His hard work and dedication extended beyond his city job, as he also successfully managed a landscaping and plow business for 25 years, serving his community with a steadfast commitment to excellence.

At the heart of Paul’s life was his family. For 51 beautiful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Anne Sacco, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Paul Patrick Jr., Jason John (and wife Amy), and Mary Elizabeth. His devotion to his family was unmatched, and his legacy of love continues through his cherished grandson, Nicholas John. Paul is also survived by his dear brother Louis and sister-in-law Elaine, who supported him throughout his life.

Paul’s passions extended beyond his family and career. He was an active and enthusiastic member of the Liverpool Little League and Liverpool Babe Ruth communities, where he spent countless hours coaching young athletes and even took the helm for a year as a girls’ softball coach. His dedication to youth sports was not just about the game; it was about nurturing and inspiring the next generation. Often, Paul could be found giving rides to children in the back of his pickup truck, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to play and learn.

A man of exceptional character, Paul was known for his caring and loving nature. He was an excellent father who provided for his children with unwavering dedication, ensuring they never wanted for anything. His generosity and kindness were felt by all who crossed his path, and his ability to make others feel valued and supported was truly remarkable.

Paul’s legacy is one of love, service, and community. He leaves behind a family and community who are profoundly grateful for the time they shared with him and the lessons he imparted. As we say goodbye to this extraordinary man, we hold onto the memories and the love he gave us so freely.

Paul Patrick Sacco Sr. may have left this world, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy of love and service will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Paul. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
