Oscar D. Rednour, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. He was 68 years old.
Born in London, Kentucky, on July 13, 1956, to Ralph and Sarah Rednour, Oscar was remembered as a rambunctious child, a testament to his spirited nature. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family, including four brothers and one sister. After his high school years, he embarked on a career in the baking industry, a testament to his hard work and dedication.
In 1980, Oscar met the love of his life, Yvonne, in London, Kentucky. Their love story blossomed, leading them to move to Florida, where they built a beautiful life and raised a family. Oscar dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver for Marjon Specialty Foods in Plant City, a role that reflected his strong work ethic and reliability. He found immense joy in providing for his family.
Oscar and Yvonne were blessed with three children. He was deeply devoted to them, cherishing every moment. Preceding him in death are his parents, Ralph and Sarah Rednour; brothers, “Beaver” and Earl; and two children, Angela and Wayne.
Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; daughters, Tracy (Ray) and Jenny (Brian); six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, each a reminder of his lasting legacy. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
