Natividad Migdalia Yanes Hidalgo

December 25, 1932 - May 8, 2025

Natividad Migdalia Yanes Hidalgo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 92.  Born in Cuba on December 25, 1932, to Manuel Yanes and Isabel Hidalgo, Migdalia lived a life filled with love, family, and unwavering devotion.

 

A devoted homemaker, Migdalia dedicated her life to nurturing her family.  She will be remembered most for her boundless love and the warmth she brought to the lives of her four children, Orlando Miguel, Manuel, and Silvia.  Her home was always a welcoming haven, filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking and the echoes of laughter and shared stories.

 

Migdalia ‘s legacy extends far beyond her immediate family.  She is survived by her four cherished children; five siblings, Raudel, Vvaldo, Blanca, Mirta, and Myriam; fourteen grandchildren who held a special place in her heart; and five great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy in her later years.

Her kind spirit, gentle nature, and unwavering strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Migdalia ‘s life was a testament to the power of family and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

Visitation for Migdalia will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel, located at 2090 East Edgewood Drive, Lakeland, Florida.  All who knew and loved Migdalia are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
