A graveside service will be held at Fitzgerald Cemetery in Lakeland, on Wednesday, June 16th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Naomi’s honor.
Naomi Pipkin, 93
Mrs. Naomi Taylor Pipkin of Winter Haven died Wednesday (June 9) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 93.
Naomi was born in Mulberry on March 13, 1928. She moved to Winter Haven in her early twenties, where she worked as co-owner and secretary for a Badcock Furniture store. When she was not at the store, she enjoyed time with her family and vacations on the beach.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Ernest Pipkin, Winter Haven; and son, Donald Pipkin, Auburndale. She is survived by her daughter in law, Edie Pipkin, Auburndale; three grandchildren and their spouses, Toni and Bobby Hiers, Donna and John Carter, and DJ and Jessica Pipkin; and eight great grandchildren.
