Nancy’s funeral service will be held in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
Nancy Lee Plank passed away on December 13, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Donald Plank and their 3 children, Christine Plank Adams (widowed), Dawn Plank Sims (Tim) and Patrick Plank (Denise) as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy had a long professional work history that included secretarial positions (now known as Administrative Assistants), office manager in the orange juice industry, food shows and sales with her career in the orange juice industry, work with truant students with the Lakeland Police Department PAL organization/Polk County School Board as well as handling the books for the family business, Plank Electric.
She was active in the Junior Sorosis club for many years as well as the church that the family attended and volunteered with the schools attended by her children. She was an avid animal rights supporter and loved all animals. Growing up in our household, we were always surrounded by all types of pets, love, fun and support.
She was a loving, kind and supportive spouse and mother to our family. She has left behind wonderful and limitless fond, funny and moving memories.
