Mary Louise Titus
May 5, 1968 - September 13, 2023
On September 13, 2023, Mary Louise (Mayo) Titus passed away at the age of 55. Mary died peacefully in her sleep at Highland Lakes Center under the care and support of Good Shepard Hospice.
Mary was born in Hill County, Texas to Ralph Allen and Edna Louise (Brake) Mayo, on May 5, 1968. Soon after, the family moved to Damascus, MD where she and her younger brother, Ralph “Junior” were raised. She lived in Maryland until she was a teen and the family moved to central Florida. This move brought the family closer to her older brother, Michael, his wife, Merritt, and their two daughters, Christina (Brandon) and Heather (John).
She worked hard all her life and for many of those years, she worked side-by-side with her mother, Edna. She later went to college and became a medical secretary. She grew up in the Lutheran Church and remained faithful even when she was no longer able to attend church in person. She loved animals and raised many throughout the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching game shows, scary movies, and playing electronic games with friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Allen Mayo, and her step-father, Elmer Norris Leach, and her mother, Edna Louise Leach.
Mary is survived and deeply missed by her brothers Michael (Merritt) Brake and Ralph Mayo, her uncle William (Judy) Brake, nine Nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Good Shepard Hospice.
