Lois C Murphy

Lois C. Murphy, age 92 of Lakeland, FL died at Lakeland Regional Health on January 23, 2026. Lois was born to Fay & Anice (Roebuck) Scott at Belle Center, Ohio on December 2, 1933. She married Charles (Chuck) Murphy on August 14, 1951, and has one daughter, Diane (Grant) Booth of Lakeland, two grandchildren, Kristen (David) Silverstein, and Kevin (Bryanna) Booth, both of Birmingham, AL. She has two great grandsons, Stone and Hart Silverstein of Birmingham. She retired as a RN in 1994 after working at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL and West Volusia Hospital in DeLand, FL.  Lois and Chuck were married 57 years at the time of his death in 2008. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Lois was predeceased by her parents, husband Chuck, two brothers Derwin and Earl and sister Doris. Surviving besides daughter Diane and family, two sisters in law-Joe Anna Eirich of Brownsville, TX and Joy Tinsley of Marysville, OH, and several nieces and nephews including Darlene (Jerry) Canniff of St. Cloud, FL.

Cremation took place following her death, No services will be held. Donations should be made to charity of your choice. Arrangements are being made by Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel, Lakeland, FL.
