Linda Paulette Moffitt

Linda Paulette Moffitt, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends in Lakeland, Florida.
Linda was born on March 8, 1950, in Watervliet, Michigan. She was a loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, family member and dear friend whose presence brought love and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her.  Linda treasured the simple moments in life, especially spending time with her family. She found joy in working crossword puzzles, coloring and most importantly, reading her Bible and nurturing her faith. Her love for her family and her faith were at the heart of who she was.
Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband Waldo Moffitt of 42 years. She is survived by her loving children: Brian Crandell (Madeline), Bobby Litaker (Tonya), Donna Litaker (Steve), Lisa Moffitt, Yolanda Vazquez and Waldo Moffitt. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and beloved great-grandmother to 24 great grandchildren, all of whom brought tremendous love and joy into her life. Linda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the memories she created with those around her, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends. Though her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness, the love Linda shared will remain forever. Her family will carry her memories in their hearts and cherish the many moments they were blessed to have with her.
Rest peacefully, Mom. You were deeply loved, and you will be missed more than words can say.
