Born on May 28, 1958, in Greenburg, Pennsylvania, Linda’s life was marked by kindness, compassion, and a deep love for the natural world. Linda was the loving daughter of the late Robert J. and Inez Nichols. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 35 years, Dave Whitlock, who passed away in 2014, and her siblings Margaret Morrison, Robert “Tony” Nichols, and Brinda Nichols. Despite the profound losses she endured, Linda’s spirit remained unbroken, a testament to her resilience and strength.

Educated with a Bachelor of Arts in Science, Linda pursued a career as an Environmental Analyst, where her passion for the environment shone brightly. Her commitment to preserving the earth’s beauty was evident in every endeavor she undertook, and her work left a lasting impact on the field and those she worked with.

Linda’s interests extended beyond her professional life. She was an avid reader, finding solace and adventure within the pages of her favorite books. Her love for her feline companions brought her endless joy, and she cherished their company. Additionally, Linda was a talented jewelry maker, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit.
