Lester Allen Patzer, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on September 17th, 2024 in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on February 27th, 1953 in Shawano, Wisconsin to parents who instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication.

Lester’s life was one filled with ambition and adventure. After completing high school, he apprenticed under his father as a plumbing contractor. His passion for the trade led him to move to Florida in 1979, where he founded Q & Q Plumbing. In 1987, he started Central Mechanical which grew into a successful business that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Lester retired after selling his business in 1997, but remained active by indulging in his love for travel and general contracting. He found immense joy while fishing in Canada or exploring exotic destinations such as Hawaii, Australia, and China.

Lester leaves behind his devoted wife Judy; sister, Janet Patzer; children, Brannon (Mieka), Vickie (Doug), Jason (Leydiana), as well as fond memories of Kari who preceded him in death; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; extended family members; friends; and colleagues.

His legacy will live on through his children and the work ethic he instilled in them. Les provided wisdom when needed most while also being quick with a joke or story.

As we mourn our loss today we are reminded that although we may not be able to see or hear him physically anymore –his presence will forever linger within our hearts.
