June Foster, 95, passed away on June 26, 2025, after suffering a stroke.
She was born in Hartwell, Georgia, to the late Walter and Mildred Pinson. After graduating from Hartwell High School, June worked with Southern Bell, the FBI, and Elida Children’s Home. June attended Columbia Bible College and earned her bachelor’s degree in 1956. In 1958, she married Pat Foster, and together they began their lifelong careers as missionaries.
June served with Pat in Guyana and Brazil for 42 years. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She partnered with Pat in ministry and worked in an administrative role with MEVA Missions. Her quiet strength and commitment to others left an enduring impact on countless lives. Her legacy of service and faith continues to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
June is survived by her four children: John Foster of Lakeland, FL; Tim Foster of Davenport, FL; Lynn Foster-Johnson of Topsham, VT; and Deborah Need of Mountain View, CA. She is also survived by one brother, two sisters, and six grandchildren.
June will be laid to rest with her husband at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, Florida.
