Gloria M. Seeley Sawtelle, June 4, 1926 – July 9, 2021

“Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15.

Gloria entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 9, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Gloria trusted Jesus Christ at the age of five and surrendered living her life for the Lord as a teenager. While working at Philadelphia College of the Bible, Gloria met her husband Don. After they married in 1954, they moved to Johnson City, NY where Don attended Seminary. Throughout the years, Gloria served the Lord faithfully as a Pastor’s wife, Sunday School Teacher, Music Director, in Churches in NY, PA, NC, NJ, and FL. Gloria also taught in local schools in PA, NC, NJ, and FL. Don and Gloria were blessed with four children. Her daughter, Lori (Sawtelle) Reitnauer, preceded her in death.

Surviving family include her husband of almost 67 years, Don, sons – Larry and Randal, daughter – Rhonda, and son-in-law – Otto Reitnauer, grandchildren, great-grand children and great-great-grand children.

The everlasting message of Acts 16:31, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” is what Gloria placed her faith and shared that testimony with many.  If you don’t know Jesus Christ, please contact Faith Baptist Church, Winter Haven FL, and learn how you can have an assurance of Heaven.
