“Frank,” as he is affectionately known, was born to Ennis and Lillie Bell Jackson on February 4, 1943, and departed this earth on May 13, 2023.
Frank was a blessed man of many talents. As an avid swimmer, he became a lifeguard at the Simpson Park Recreation Center, as a highly skilled mechanic, he was capable of repairing a number of different cars, lawn mowers, and most mechanical equipment.  He also had a love for cooking which left many of his siblings wanting more. Shortly after he finished high school at Rochelle Senior High (class of 1965), Frank enlisted in the army for eight years during which time he fought during the Vietnam War. Our wonderful brother leaves behind the legacy of his five children: Fredricka Merrell, Melindy Johnson, Frankie L. Jackson Jr., Bianca Jackson, and Christopher Jackson. His legacy also extends to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his sisters and brothers: Jacqueline J. Rollins, Corrine Robinson, Thedis Jackson, Debra J. Allen and a host of dearly loved cousins and friends who will miss him whole heartedly.  We the family of Frankie L. Jackson would like to thank everyone who attended his funeral, participated in the program and/or sent their condolences, flowers, sympathy cards, and telephone calls.
We pray that the Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
