Edward “Ed” J. Osgood, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Largo, Florida. He was 58 years old.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 16, 1966, Ed lived a life filled with passion and a zest for experiencing everything the world had to offer. He was a man who embraced life fully, a trait evident in all aspects of his being. His deep love for music, particularly the Grateful Dead, resonated throughout his life, a testament to his free spirit and appreciation for the beauty of sound. Ed dedicated much of his career to maintenance work, a testament to his hardworking and dependable nature. He found immense joy in the simple things, spending countless hours at the beach, connecting with nature and the people around him. His warm and welcoming personality allowed him to effortlessly connect with others; he truly never met a stranger.
Ed will be deeply missed by his two children, Jonathan Osgood (and his wife, Alex) and Sarah Osgood, and his cherished grandson, Jaxson, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
