Doris A Morphet

Doris Amanda Morphet, age 71, of Auburndale, FL, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 25, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on October 18, 1953, Doris lived a life marked by faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to God. She was a woman of deep prayer, gentle wisdom, and unshakable belief in the promises of Christ. Through every season of life – both joyful and hard – she remained anchored in her Savior, often reminding those around her that “God is still good”.

Doris shared her love through quiet strength, kind words, and acts of compassion. Her faith wasn’t just something she spoke; it was something she lived. She was a guiding light to her family, a prayer warrior, and a source of encouragement to many.

She is survived by her husband Stephen Morphet; son Jack Morphet; daughter Amy Ward; grandchildren Amanda Bailey, Christian Morphet, Joshua Morphet, Faith Howell, Micah Morphet, and Ethan Ward; great-grandchildren Grace Howell and Dean Morphet; and her sister Sheila Jennings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Jennings and Irene Bowen, and her sisters, Judy Sandurs and Fonda Beck.

All who carry her legacy of faith, love, and grace. Though we grieve her earthly absence, we rejoice in knowing she is now at home in glory worshipping at the feet of Jesus, whole, healed, and forever in peace.

A viewing for Doris will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 9:15am at Garden Grove Church, 3379 Cypress Gardens Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33884, with a funeral starting at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest at Auburndale Memorial Park after the funeral.
