Della Marie Anderson

Della Marie Anderson (McMinn) passed away peacefully surround by many family members Tuesday June 2, 2026.
Della was born May 18th 1940, in Volant, Pennsylvania to James Irwin McMinn and Pauline G. (Huff). Della graduated from Garrettsville High School in 1958.  She married Neil M. Anderson on December 6, 1968, in Sarasota, Florida and they were married for 57 years.

Della loved all types of flowers.  She was a floral designer for Publix until she retired. She also enjoyed crocheting.  She recently made 14 blankets in the last year  for family and friends until she got too sick.   She really loved her big family and being with them as often as she could.
Della was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline G. Mink;  father, James Irwin McMinn, stepmother, Eleanor C. McMinn, granddaughter Jerika Dawn Teal, Brother, James E. McMinn. She leaves behind her husband Neil M. Anderson , Bartow, Fl,  daughter, Tina L. Teal  in Lakeland, FL,  Daughter Christina Collins (Ricky) in Mulberry, Fl,  Son, Tony A. Anderson (Tina),  Sister Babs Anderson (Charles) in Fort Myers, FL, Sister Sheila Wishart (Paul) in Gainesville, FL, Brother Carl Goode Mineral Ridge, Ohio. 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date at Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida.
