Gerry you are heavy on our hearts. David was a special person and I know you will miss him greatly. God be with you and your family during this difficult time and give you peace and solace knowing he is with our Lord and Savior. God bless you. and give you peace.

I knew David was one of a kind the night he came to our home and worked late into the evening preparing our home for the Parade of Homes that would start the following day. Gerry had recently broke her foot and was not able to do all the decorating she had planned to do. David, without question, was there for her that day and many days and nights since. He was one in a million and more. I’ll never forget his kindness, humor and genuineness. I will miss you sweet man.

I have known and treasured my friendship with David since we met at Mr. Ambrose’s cotillion. We were in 6th grade. David was always the best dancer and the nicest boy you could ever hope to meet. He was kind yet had a mischievous streak and always a twinkle in his eye. He remained close with my family and always visited with my Mom when he came back to town. It is heart breaking that he is gone, but I do think it was his time. I was beyond lucky to see him about a year and a half ago. My heart goes out to Gerry and the whole family and to all of us who will miss knowing he is still in our world. God bless David and rest in peace! With love
