David Alan Woodham
October 14, 1952 - October 26, 2025
David Alan Woodham, AKA “Buck”, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at age 73, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity. He was born on October 14, 1952, in Eustis, Florida, to Van Marlow Woodham and Betty Collier; he learned the importance of hard work and dedication from his parents. Buck’s humility was evident through the admiration he held for his father.
He was a wonderful husband to Linda for 30 years, an exceptional father to his children, a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, and a cherished friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda, his siblings, his children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored him.
In his earlier years, Buck began as a truck driver with Publix. When he wasn’t on the road providing for his family, he spent his time playing on the Publix softball team. Buck enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, as well as watching NASCAR, joking around with his buddies, and listening to country music.
Buck was also a creative spirit. Buck loved woodworking. This was evident by the time he spent tinkering in his “man-cave,” as Linda lovingly named it. He was a good friend to many and always ready to lend a helping hand.
It is through these memories that we’re reminded of how Buck was an excellent, devoted father whose positive encouragement, and genuine guidance, made him a pillar of strength for his family.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
