Charlene Gay Warren

August 25, 1954 - February 10, 2022

Charlene passed from our loving arms to the loving arms of God on February 10, 2022. She was born at Fort Benning Georgia on August 25, 1954. She graduated from Pennfield High School, Battle Creek, Michigan in 1973. She moved to Texas in 1976 where she worked at Livingston Shipyard in Orange Texas where she cleaned and maintained holding tanks of ships and barges. She moved to Auburndale Florida in 2000. She retired from Publix Bakery Maintenance.
She enjoyed canoeing, allegator watching and road trips with her cousin Diana Maddy, who was like a sister to her. Family fishing trips at Bokeelia and spending time with great nephews, Cullen Howard, Lukas Willacker and great niece Jenna Willacker.
She leaves behind her Mother, Inez Crowell; Sister, Tena Schantz who lived with and cared for her; Brother, Mark Warren; step sister, Sarah Crowell, her cousin Diana Maddy, her nephew; Shane Howard, Niece; Nichole Willacker; nephew; Jared Schantz and long time co-worker, Susan McMillin and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Richard E Warren, and her Brother, Thomas E Warren, and step-dad, D.L.Crowell
At her request there will be no funeral. We encourage donations in her name to the Polk County Humane Society or Community Pet Project, PO Box 7206, Seffner, FL 33583
