Visitation for Billy Ray will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 5:00-6:00pm with a funeral service following at 6pm at Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11am at Oak Hill Burial park in Lakeland, Florida.
Billy Ray McDowell, Age 67, passed away on 1/17/2025 in Lakeland, FL. Billy was born on 8/9/1957 in Boaz, AL. He moved to Florida and graduated from Auburndale High School in 1975, he had a lengthy career and retired from Cutler Federal Company in Lakeland, Florida. Billy Ray enjoyed finishing and photography and riding his motorcycle. He also loved to spend time with his family. Billy Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virginia McDowell; brother in law, Donald Igou; sister in law, Barbara McDowell; nephew, Mitch McDowell, nephew in law, Thomas Bowser. Billy Ray is survived by his brothers, Larry and David McDowell; twin sister, Brenda Roberts; sisters, Regina Igou and Vickie Beery(Keith), nieces and nephews, Lisa Hall, Allen Roberts, Cherra Clanton (Mark), Lucinda Hendricks (Ken), Kimberly Bowser, Eric Myers (Ami), Caity Grant (Danny), great nieces and nephew, Tabitha, Taylor Joy, Trevor, Trinity, Dakota, Brantley, Trey, Nathaniel, Devon, Kaydence, Bryson, Rhett, Kari, Noah and Dawson.
