Ann Kathleen Flynn

February 12, 1933 - January 27, 2024

Ann Kathleen Flynn, who died on January 27, 2024, was born in New York, NY on February 12, 1933. Moving to Lakeland in 1974, she became a realtor with Wanda Wilson Realty. In 1980, Ann joined her husband’s insurance agency in Fort Lauderdale, where she worked until their joint remodeling and repair business in the Lakeland area.

Ann was a member of St David’s Episcopal Church in Lakeland. She formly served on the executive committee of the Central Florida Chapter of Mensa, of which she was a life member, later transferring membership to the Tampa Bay Chapter, and was retired “Queen Mum” of the “Leading Ladies” chapter of the Red Hat Society.

Ann is preceded in death by her so-loved husband of 53 years, John L Flynn; son, Kevin F Flynn and grandson, Michael S Ross; she leaves her daughters, Judith Pascual (Melvyn) and Kathie Ross (Gary Caraker); her beloved partner in later years, Howard Fitzgerald; her son James Stewart (Andrea); granddaughters Sarah Anderson and Crystal Pedigo and 5 great granddaughters.

Ann’s final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery with her husband, John F Flynn.
