It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Altagracia Elvira Zaiter Pichardo, who departed this world on December 30, 2024, surrounded by love and family. Born on March 29th 1952, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Altagracia lived a life rich in love, compassion, and faith.

Altagracia was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, whose impassioned spirit and unwavering strength touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind her loving husband, Morris Pichardo, her cherished daughter, Sujey Pichardo, and her treasured grandchildren, Aylanie Bonilla, Ohanis Bonilla, and Nailah Pichardo, as well as extended family and friends.

Altagracia was a pillar of strength with an unyielding spirit that motivated everyone around her. She embraced the roles of mother and teacher, offering guidance to all who needed it. Her thirst for knowledge was evident in her lifelong passion for learning, cooking, and reading. Creative and resourceful, she found innovative ways to enrich her life and those of others. With resilience, courage, and deep spiritual conviction, she worked tirelessly to leave a meaningful impact on the world. Altagracia lived her life boldly, and ventured beyond her comfort zone, taking risks with a daring resolve. Her hard work and dedication shaped a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift for generations.

Though our hearts ache with the loss of Altagracia, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Altagracia Elvira Zaiter Pichardo, quien partió de este mundo el 30 de diciembre de 2024, rodeada de amor y su familia. Nacida el 29 de marzo de 1952 en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, Altagracia vivió una vida plena de amor, compasión y fe.

Altagracia fue una amada esposa, madre, hermana, hija y amiga, cuyo apasionado espíritu y fortaleza inquebrantable tocaron la vida de todos aquellos afortunados de conocerla. Deja atrás a su amado esposo, Morris Pichardo; su querida hija, Sujey Pichardo; y sus adorados nietos, Aylanie Bonilla, Ohanis Bonilla y Nailah Pichardo, así como a su familia extendida y amigos.

Altagracia fue un pilar de fortaleza con un espíritu indomable que motivaba a todos los que la rodeaban. Abrazó los roles de madre y maestra, ofreciendo guía a quienes lo necesitaban. Su sed de conocimiento era evidente en su pasión por el aprendizaje, la cocina y la lectura a lo largo de su vida. Creativa e ingeniosa, encontró formas innovadoras de enriquecer su vida y la de los demás. Con resiliencia, coraje y una profunda convicción espiritual, trabajó incansablemente para dejar una huella significativa en el mundo. Altagracia vivió su vida con valentía, aventurándose más allá de su zona de confort y afrontando riesgos con determinación.
