REST IN PEACE ALLEN, YOUR SHIFT ON EARTH IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE!
ALLEN STUART MARSHALL, 80, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, October 1, 2025. Allen was born in Chicago, IL. He paved his way through his younger childhood being a young entrepreneur with working side hustles that allowed him to persevere, landing him working at Publix in Winter Haven, Florida, working as a Stock Crew Manager for 8 years. After parting ways with Publix, Allen found his true calling at I.M.C. where he wanted to be. Allen climbed the ladder at IMC learning all of the ins and outs of everything he could put his hands on, eventually earning the title, “Mine Boss”. Two things Allen accomplished during his time that would never separate, 1) The working Life and 2) Family.
Allen surely was known to be a leader, inspirational, devoted and always a go getter. When some said it couldn’t be done, Allen would get it done! Allen broke records, even records that belonged to him during his time at the mines. His quote that got placed on hundreds of work hats was, “think twice.” This wasn’t just a caution label, but it was his creed he lived by even off the clock. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, James and Minnie Marshall, his loving sisters Deloris Jackson and Mary Marshall, and his grandson, James A Marshall, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Kristina Marshall; son, Jamey A. (Sharon) Marshall; daughter – Pamela Wendle; stepsons, Christopher Daniels and Matthew (Brooke Harvey) Martin ;grandchildren, Jarrod Marshall, Amanda Wendle, Jake Wendle, Juliana Marshall, Justin Marshall and Miguel Martin; sisters Karen (Billy) Meadows and Arlene Bennett; three great grandchildren as well as several other family, friends and associates.
