Allan Darrell Danforth, 79, of Auburndale, FL, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025. Born on January 15, 1945, in Loraine, OH, to Loran and Ruth Danforth. For 42 years, Allan dedicated himself to his appliance service business, building a strong reputation for exceptional customer service. His commitment to his clients extended beyond repairs, fostering lasting friendships with many of them. He was a passionate pool player, a regular on the tournament circuit, ensuring he graced the tables at least once a week.
Allen’s true haven was his “man cave,” where the sounds of music filled the air. There, he could savor the tranquility of nature, feeding the ducks and birds that flocked to his pond. The pond, a source of endless joy for his grandchildren, was always stocked with baited hooks, ready for their fishing adventures. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy; and beloved sons, Paul and Little Allan; and daughter, Melodie, Allan leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Allen is survived by his devoted wife, Lois Danforth; five children, Lisa Danforth, Rosemary Danforth, Darlene Prosser, Johnny Prosser, and Nikki Stewart; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Wayne “Butt” Danforth.
