Sandra, you were the "Best Big Sister" anyone could have. I was shy when I was a little girl, but you were outgoing. I always felt safe and protected when I was with you. We had a wonderful childhood together playing board games, riding our bikes and "playing school". Of course, you always had to be the teacher! You were so faithful and never missed a church service. If anyone needed a helping hand, you were there! Thank you for your prayers and for always loving me. I am at peace knowing you are free from pain and have reached your Heavenly Home! Rest well Sandra and I will see you again one day! I love you. Marla

Sandra was my favorite Aunt. Growing up she and Grady took me on many family vacations and drove me back and forth to Tennessee on more than one occasion so that I could spend time with my dad and paternal grandmother. She took me to church when I had no other way to get there. She was always ready to help with all my school papers and projects and had a resource for everything (we had no internet back then). Her home was always an escape for me. A place of acceptance and unconditional love. She always had the good snacks and was always ready for a card game. We played Yahtzee into the wee hours many nights. We enjoyed many camping trips, bonfires, and roasting hotdogs. She was a walking bible and knew a scripture for any situation you may be dealing with in your life. Her faith was strong. She made the best potato salad, deviled eggs, sweet tea and kool aid. She loved her family and she loved God. I sure will miss her. Give Grady a big bear hug for me! And save me a seat up there!

It’s a sad day to lose your friend🙏🏻. But a day of rejoicing knowing she is in Heaven with Jesus. Thankful to know that one day we’ll see each other again and never have to say goodbye. Sandra and I had the privilege of working in church libraries in the South Florida Baptist Association, doing individual churches and helping me is leading library and VBS conferences. Some of our greatest times were spent just talking and sharing and simply being together. Sandra, my friend, I love you and miss you.
