Jane Eskenazi, 84, of Lakeland FL died Dec 26, 2025 of natural causes after a brief stay at LRMC. Jane Eskenazi was born Nov 24, 1941 in Statesboro GA to Grace Eliza and William David. Unfortunately her father passed away when Jane was 6 years old. Eliza moved the family to Lakeland FL. Jane graduated from Lakeland High School and attended college at Wesleyan College in Macon GA. In 1960, she married John W. They moved to Indiana, Ohio, NY and NJ in 1964 their first child David was born in Peekskill, NY. Jane worked for the Navy as a UNIVAC programmer in 1967. John E. was born in Lakeland in 1970.

Jane received her AA degree in Fine Arts from Polk Community College in 1981 and her Master’s from USF in Tampa in 1991. She married Al a few years later. Al passed away in 2013. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lakeland, Master Gardener, and volunteer at the Lakeland and Bartow libraries.
