Henry Howard Higgins

Henry Howard Higgins, a beloved Lakeland native, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born in Lakeland on March 6, 1967, to Henry and Peggy Higgins, he spent his entire life enriching the community he called home.

For 33 years, Henry dedicated his career to serving the City of Lakeland as a Lineman/Troubleman, a testament to his hard work and commitment to his community. Beyond his professional life, Henry was a man who deeply appreciated the simple joys. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and adventure in fishing and hunting. Known for his infectious laugh and warm personality, he was truly the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to everyone he knew.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Jenny Higgins; his cherished children, Brittany (Andrew) and Ashley; his stepchildren, Cheri (Dan) and Chelsea (Greg); and his ten beloved grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy of love and laughter.

A celebration of Henry’s life will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 6-8pm at the Kathleen Lions Club. All who knew and loved Henry are welcome to attend and share memories of this remarkable man.
