Debra L. Dodd

Debra L Dodd, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on October 22, 1953, and passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025.

Debra lived a life dedicated to her family and her home.  She found joy in the simple things, finding solace and contentment in her everyday routines.

Debra was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed leisurely walks around her neighborhood, appreciating the quiet beauty of her surroundings. Evenings often found her engaged in lively – though one-sided – debates with the television, particularly during episodes of Dr. Phil, a show she faithfully followed.

While she preferred the comfort of her own home and didn’t often venture far, Debra cherished the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her son Charles Taylor and her grandchild, Chris Taylor.

Debra’s quiet strength, her dedication to her home, and her love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Her memory will be cherished as a testament to a life well-lived, filled with simple pleasures and profound love.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery (Davenport) on Friday 28, 2025 at 1:30PM.
