It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Allen Galloway, a cherished husband, father, and friend, who left this world on March 21, 2026, just days shy of his 44th birthday. David was born on March 27, 1982, in the warm community of Winter Haven, Florida, where he first learned the values of hard work, love, and resilience that would characterize his life.

David was the beloved son of the late William and Bernadine Galloway, who instilled in him a love for the outdoors and a steadfast sense of responsibility and compassion. He was also predeceased by his stepfathers, Jack and Gerald, who played significant roles in his upbringing and shaped him into the man he became.

A dedicated and hardworking individual, David found his calling on the open road as a truck driver, where he spent many years navigating the highways with the same dedication and care that he brought to all aspects of his life. His colleagues admired him for his unwavering work ethic and the camaraderie he shared with everyone he met along his journeys.

David’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. He shared 13 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Vicki, who stood by his side through every twist and turn. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual support. Their union was blessed with their treasured son, David Jr., who inherited his father’s curiosity and gentle spirit. David was a constant source of wisdom and joy to his son, always encouraging him to pursue his dreams with passion and integrity.

In his leisure time, David found solace and delight in the simple pleasures of life. A passionate fisherman, he spent countless hours by the water’s edge, finding peace and reflection in the gentle lapping of the waves. He also had a keen interest in shooting, where he appreciated the focus and discipline it required. Additionally, David’s love for car shows was well-known, as he marveled at both the beauty and innovation of classic automobiles.

David is survived by his loving wife, Vicki, and their son, David Jr., who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. He also leaves behind his brother, Darrell and his wife Keely and a large extended family, including many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored him and will forever cherish the memories they shared.

As we bid farewell to David, we remember a man whose life was defined by love, dedication, and a profound connection to those around him. He touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

David Allen Galloway will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was truly loved.
