Christopher Norman Roberts

July 9, 1985 - July 18, 2025

Christopher Norman Roberts, affectionately known as “Whip,” passed away on July 18, 2025, just days after his 40th birthday. Born on July 9, 1985, Chris lived a life full of love, passion, and dedication to his family, friends, and community.

Chris was a devoted husband to his wife, Lizzie, and a loving father to his daughter Arya and son Aiden. His generosity and kindness were well known — he would always give you the shirt off his back. An avid video game enthusiast, Chris cherished his lifelong love for Zelda, a passion that connected him to joyful memories from his childhood.

He earned his Associate’s degree in computer marketing from Full Sail University, reflecting his commitment to learning and growth. Beyond his academic achievements, Chris was a true sports fan who passionately supported all Tampa teams, especially the Buccaneers and the Lightning, and held a special place in his heart for the Florida Gators.

Chris was deeply involved in his spiritual community at Willow Oak Assembly of God. He found joy in serving his church by managing the sound system and helping spread the Lord’s message with heartfelt devotion. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Roberts.

He is survived by his beloved wife Lizzie; children Arya and Aiden; loyal dog Yoshi; mother Donna; sister Brandi; and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
