Raymond L. Myers, 87, died from natural causes on March 10, 2023, at home. He was born on March 17, 1935, in Erie, PA, the son of the late Raymond A. Myers and Thelma Kuehl Myers. Ray graduated from Erie Tech Memorial HS, Class of 1953. Following graduation, he worked as a Tool & Die Maker for several shops, including American Tool of Erie. Ray was offered a job teaching Tool & Die at his alma mater – Erie Tech Memorial, Ray earned his degree from Pitt University. Ray married the love of his life, Elizabeth Louise Horton Myers, on January 8, 1955. They were married for 62 years before her death on June 27, 2017. They were both members of St. Mathews Church in Winter Haven, FL. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Louise Horton Myers, his daughter Mary Alice Myers and his sister Jeanne Myers Guthrie.
Ray is survived by his children, Raymond John Myers, Lisa Marie (Julieanne) Myers, Laurie Anne Myers, Beth Anne (Kevin) Vamos. Ray had 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Ray was all about his family.
