Harold “John” McEntee went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2020. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, NASCAR, video games and football. He served in the US Army and he was also a Peewee coach and also coached little league football for the Auburndale Hounds (AYFL) in 2013. Harold was from Walton, NY and lived a few years in Middlesboro, KY but lived the majority of his life in Lakeland, Florida with the love of his life, Melissa McEntee and their fur-babies. Harold is preceded in death by his father, David McEntee; brother, Raymond McEntee and father-in-law, Kenneth Teal.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Melissa Ann McEntee; son, Jonathan “Cody” McEntee; step children, Megan Marlow and Doug Smith all of KY; godson, Arthur (Hazel) Talmadge of MA; mother, Cora Smith of NY; 2 brothers, David Jr (Joanne) and Fred McEntee both of NY; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Teal of Auburndale; two brother-in-laws, Tim (Ronna) Teal of Auburndale and Kenneth Teal of MI and sister-in-law, Virginia (Joe) Steel of Auburndale; nieces and nephews, Amanda McEntee, James Flowers, Dylan Teal, Brandon Teal, Jaxon Teal, Theresa Teal, Trisha and Teddy Teal.
